As an assistant professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the Department of Population, Family, and Reproductive Health, Dr. Voegtline teaches the 2nd term course "Child Health and Development." This 3 credit course aims to:

Describe the critical domains of health and development in childhood

Describe and apply theoretical frameworks of child development that inform intervention programming designed to improve infant and child health

Explain the major determinants of health and development during childhood

Provide skills needed to effectively communicate about child health and development research to policy makers and the public
